Tell us about your business!
Caveday is a virtual coworking community. We help you manage your time better, find focus and structure in your workday, and get more done in less time with more joy and energy. We lead facilitated group focus sessions on Zoom, offer weekly workshops, and community to feel more accountable and connected to other people around the world just like you.
It’s for people who have some control of their time but need some support, structure, and energy in their workday. We have a lot of entrepreneurs, freelancers, students, and academics, but we’re welcoming and inclusive of anyone that has work that requires focus.
Where did you grow up?
Highland Park, IL.
How long have you lived in SOMa?
Since October 2021
What excites you the most about what you do?
No one ever taught us how to work. So our systems, processes, and ideas are all just sort of pieced together. I love bringing researched and tested ideas to people that actually work– that help them focus, get more done, finally finish the things they’re putting off. I light up when people become better versions of themselves and achieve what I know they’re capable of.
Do you have any magic tricks that you use in your business that you swear by and could share with others?
I literally run a business of magic tricks.
BUT! If I could share one, I think that a 30 minute weekly review/planning session is game-changing. Take the time to review the week, close your open loops, and plan your priorities and time for the coming week.
What are 3 things that contribute to a successful work day?
Underplanning - choose important over urgent.
Deep work – time for uninterrupted focus on high-leverage tasks.
Rest, breaks, and good snacks, coffee and/or meal.
And just for fun…
